Our History
At the turn of the 20th century, America was on the verge of tremendous innovation and business advances - ranging from the Wright brothers' first flight in 1903 to Henry Ford's Model A.
Real estate development was no exception. In 1906, Sidney Leon Nusbaum started S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. in Norfolk, Virginia.

Four generations later it's still thriving under the leadership of Alan B. Nusbaum, the founder's great grandson and current company's Chairman. He follows in the footsteps of his father, Virginius Harding Nusbaum Jr., and his grandfather, Virginius Harding Nusbaum.
Because of this reputation, S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. has been able to expand its business throughout Virginia, and into North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Maryland.
