NORFOLK, VA – (October 2018) S. L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is pleased to announce the successful negotiation of the following transactions totaling approximately $5 million in sales and lease volume on 61,814 square feet and approximately 3 acres for the Norfolk and Richmond Offices:

NEW LEASES:

  • ABNB Federal Credit Union has leased .72 acre at 1068 Independence Boulevard in Virginia Beach, VA. Matthew Nusbaum represented the landlord.
  • Apple Tree Kids has leased 16,066 square feet of retail space at 1141 Executive Boulevard in Chesapeake, VA. John Wessling, CCIM, Bill Overman, CCIM and Chris Devine represented the tenant.
  • La Terraza Mexican Grill has leased 3,500 square feet of retail space at Monticello Marketplace in Williamsburg, VA. Tyler Jacobson represented the landlord.
  • Skrimp Shack has leased 3,000 square feet of retail space at Suffolk Plaza Shopping Center in Suffolk, VA. Chris Hucke represented the landlord.
  • Boho Fit Studio has leased 2,160 square feet of retail space at 125-127 West Brookland Park Boulevard in Richmond, VA. Elliot Warsof, Graham Sheridan and Zach Brenner represented the landlord.
  • Hall Pass Haircuts has leased 1,875 square feet of retail space at Dam Neck Square in Virginia Beach, VA. Martin Murden and Sam Rapoport represented the landlord.
  • Nova Custom Technologies, Inc. has leased 1,550 square feet of retail space at 600 N. Witchduck Road in Virginia Beach, VA. Martin Murden represented the landlord.

SALE TRANSACTIONS:

  • 804 Berkley LLC has purchased a 15,030 square foot industrial building on 2.15 acres located at 804 Berkley Avenue in Chesapeake, VA from Shively & Shively, LLC for $725,000. Stephanie Sanker, CCIM, SIOR represented the buyer and John Wessling, CCIM and Murray Rosenbach represented the seller.

LEASE RENEWALS/EXTENSIONS/EXPANSIONS:

  • Freewheelin Bike has extended its lease on 4,200 square feet of retail space at Loehmann’s Plaza Shopping Center in Virginia Beach, VA. Michael Gurley represented the landlord.
  • Boost Mobile has exercised its option on 2,400 square feet at Suffolk Plaza Shopping Center in Suffolk, VA. Chris Hucke represented the landlord.
  • Ed’s Shoe Repair has extended its lease on 2,160 square feet of retail space at Roanoke Rapids Plaza Shopping Center in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Michael Gurley represented the landlord.
  • BB&T has renewed its lease on 2,158 square feet of office space at Sycamore Square in Midlothian, VA. Bob Butcher represented the landlord.
  • Antonio’s Ristorante has extended its lease on 1,380 square feet of retail space at James York Plaza Shopping Center in Williamsburg, VA. Neal Sadler represented the landlord.
