NORFOLK, VA (June 2020) - S. L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is pleased to announce the successful negotiation of the following transactions totaling approximately $9 million in sales and lease volume on 293,752 square feet and approximately 5 acres for the Norfolk and Richmond Offices:

NEW LEASES:

  • Carroll Trucking, Inc. has leased 52,000 square feet of industrial space at 6969 Tidewater Drive in Norfolk, VA. Stephanie Sanker, CCIM, SIOR represented the landlord.
  • Liberty Transport has leased 30,000 square feet of industrial space at 6969 Tidewater Drive in Norfolk, VA. Stephanie Sanker, CCIM, SIOR represented the landlord.
  • Sweetie Boy Home Delivery has leased 3,600 square feet of office space at 16007 Continental Boulevard in Colonial Heights, VA. Elliot Warsof represented the tenant.
  • ABZ Dance, LLC has leased 2,798 square feet of retail space at 4876 Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach, VA. John Wessling, CCIM and Bill Overman, CCIM represented the tenant.
  • Majd Dabbas has leased 2,323 square feet of retail space at 3605 High Street in Portsmouth, VA. Martin Murden represented the tenant.
  • Rub A Dub Dog Care has leased 1,603 square feet of retail space at Creekside Village Shopping Center in Suffolk, VA. Neal Sadler represented the landlord.
  • iCommand has leased 1,550 square feet of retail space at 1315 Richmond Road in Williamsburg, VA. Zach Hernandez and Nathan Shor represented the landlord.
  • Foundations Counseling Center of Hampton Roads has leased 1,196 square feet of office space at Pembroke Office Park in Virginia Beach, VA. Stephanie Sanker, CCIM, SIOR and Sam Rapoport represented the landlord.

SALE TRANSACTIONS:

  • Economic Development Authority of the City of Norfolk has purchased a 113,963 square foot former hotel property located at 880 N. Military Highway in Norfolk, VA from Kavya Hotels, LLC for $2,400,000. Bill Overman, CCIM and John Wessling, CCIM represented the seller.
  • Sisters II, LLC has purchased an 8,321 square foot office building on 1.68 acres located at 720 Mall Drive in Newport News, VA from 720 Mall Parkway, LLC for $950,000. Chris Zarpas represented the buyer.
  • 12259 Hornsby Lane Assoc LLC, d/b/a Dunkin, has purchased a 1,844 square foot retail building on .64 acre located at 12259 Jefferson Avenue in Newport News, VA from Boswell Supply LLC for $693,000. Nathan Shor represented the buyer.
  • Cornerstone Associates, LLC has purchased a 14,832 square foot commercial building on 1.511 acres located at 1212 Willow Avenue in Chesapeake, VA from Cornerstone Christian School for $250,000. Chris Zarpas handled the transaction.
  • Commonwealth of Virginia Properties LLC has purchased a 1,942 square foot industrial building on .77 acre located at 325 E. 22nd Street in Norfolk, VA from EBJ Properties LLC for $200,000. Martin Murden and Stephanie Sanker, CCIM, SIOR represented the seller.

  • Pollard’s Chicken has extended its lease on 2,700 square feet of retail space at Glenwood Square Shopping Center in Chesapeake, VA. Murray Rosenbach represented the landlord.
